Hello world!

These words were supposedly the first line of the first computer program ever written. PHffffT!
But it is tradition, and ya gotta keep with that.

This is my first attempt to start a blog. You can expect read about my trials to create a series of new electronic records for the Operating Room. You might even get to see some spectacular failures... I hope to see what you are thinking and doing.

Currently, I am working on designing an electronic nursing record for the OR. Not buying one off the shelf and plugging it in...a ground up VB app running on cache with other apps integrated as well. The biggist part of learning this was knowing who all the players on the team are, what they do and how they do it. And teaching myself VB, Cache at the same time. Expect to see snippets and screen shots in the future (if it'll load).

since I am still in the process of setting this up- i am going to end it here. I invite readers to post ?'s comments, vacation photos..what ever...
